ACD/ChemSketch

This is the standard ChemSketch interface with the additional I-Lab menu and the status bar at the bottom left.

The indicator lights show the connection and activity status:-

If no indicators are highlighted, no data transfer is being performed at the moment.

Use ChemSketch to draw a structure or import a structure using the File menu.
A number of different chemical file formats can be imported:

Chemsketch can be used in Structure Mode (as shown above) or in Draw Mode where a different set of tools are available.

Drawn molecules can also be viewed in 3D by clicking on the

icon (top right). This opens up the 3D viewer

When other viewers have been opened then the choice of buttons at the bottom of the window changes.

To conduct a search or prediction

Click on either the I-Lab button (bottom left) or the I-Lab menu option at the top.
