Configuring Chemsketch to Access I-Lab

When you first open ChemSketch choose I-Lab from the menu option at the top then choose Options....

A window should open called I-Lab Options.

In the Server URL box type:
cds.dl.ac.uk/ilab/perl/chsk.pl
OR
cds.dl.ac.uk/chemsketch    

Make sure the Server authentication box is ticked    

Make sure you enter your CDS ID and Password    

If you want to logon to the Ilab server everytime you open
ChemSketch, click on the Session tab.

Tick Tick Box the box
Login at startup

Click on OK.

You can now login using the Login... option on the I-Lab menu.
(this will be automatic only after the next time you open ChemSketch and only if you have chosen Login at start up).
A welcome message should appear.

You should then be able to see new options
under the I-Lab menu to access the 1 NMR,
2 Naming and 3 Phys.-Chem. Properties databases.
