To gain access to many CDS facilities you need to have logged in using an appropriate username and password. You need only do this once in any given session.

To do so use the UK Access Management Federation facility. You will, however, need to be already registered as a CDS User and will be required to authenticate using your CDS username and password the first time you access the CDS by this means.
